This will be a very timely presentation for those who have been working with, affected by, and dealing with the Hurricane Harvey and flooding crisis. 

HLPCA member, John Luquette, M.A., LPC, LCDC, will provide insight to keeping ourselves at the top of our game. 

Join us for this discussion on the boogeymen that lie under the therapist’s couch. We will address compassion fatigue, burnout, and other forms of stress encountered in our professional practices and brainstorm ideas to mediate, ameliorate, and even use these stresses to enhance our satisfaction with our practices. Bring your ideas, questions, and solutions for this professional exchange.
