Men and women convicted of sex crimes (sex offenders) have opportunities to participate in treatment programs designed to address their offending behavior. This presentation will provide insight into sex offending behavior. Sex offender treatment programs, treatment goals and assessments will be identified and discussed.
Bjana Adams is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider. She has worked with populations to include, children, individuals infected with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS, clients within a partial hospitalization program, and most recently, men and women convicted of committing sex crimes serving sentences within Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
Additionally, Bjana did contract work for TDCJ Parole Division and Polk County Adult Probation by facilitating sex offender treatment groups and conducting assessments for individuals living in the community on parole or probation.
