Topic: Food for Thought: What the Brain Needs to Eat

Lorrianne will provide an overview of neurotransmitters, their importance in regulating everyday brain function, and how they are influenced by the foods we eat. She will provide essential advice on the different types of foods that are good for gut and brain health and will explain their importance in producing and regulating these neurotransmitters. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the hierarchy of nutrients for good brain health, and will take away some simple “commandments” that they can seek to implement in their lives – whether simply to improve overall health, or to target specific issues like ADD/ADHD, fatigue, depression, etc.
