Program Title:  Parent Burn Out: A Personal Journey of Moving from Isolation to Connection & Compassion

Program Description:

Join me for an experiential workshop on burn out. Overwhelm and stress can lead to a loss of self and disconnection from one’s needs. In this workshop I will share my personal experience of parent burn out and its impact on our emotional and physical well-being. Parents from marginalized groups have the extra daily impact of negative bias and systemic racism. I will share the science and tools I used to recover from burn out and how you can use them with your clients including work from Emily Nagoski, Dr. Laura Markham, Dr. Kristen Neff, and Dr. Dan Siegel and more.  The tools I’ll share include, somatic awareness, mindfulness, self-compassion, meditation, parenting with connection and more. Through connection, support, and reconnecting with ones’ inner world, body and needs individuals can become whole again.
